Pagination to non-indexable pages

WarningMedium priority

Pages whose next or previous page in a series cannot be indexed - noindex, canonicalised elsewhere, redirecting or blocked.

Why it matters

A series is meant to be read as one list; a page in it that cannot be indexed hides what is listed on it.

How to fix it

Keep every page of a series indexable, with a canonical to itself, and name each by the address it answers at.

Skitter runs this check on every crawl, and lists each page it finds with the evidence: the header, the tag or the link that gave it away.
