Skitter runs 133 checks on every crawl. Each finding says what it found; these pages say why it matters and what to do. They're the same words as the app's Help ▸ Check Reference.

Response codes

4xx errorsIssueHigh priorityResources that answered with a 4xx status, such as 404 Not Found.
5xx errorsIssueHigh priorityResources that answered with a 5xx status.
No responseIssueHigh priorityResources that were requested but did not answer: no connection, unknown host or a timeout.
RedirectsWarningLow priorityResources that answered with a 3xx status.
Redirect chainsWarningMedium priorityAddresses something links to that redirect to another redirect before arriving.
Redirect loopsIssueHigh priorityRedirects that lead back round to an address already passed, so they never arrive anywhere.
Meta refresh redirectsWarningMedium priorityPages of this site that send visitors on with a meta refresh instead of an HTTP redirect.
Redirects that miss their targetIssueHigh priorityListed addresses that end up somewhere other than where the redirect map says they should, or nowhere.
