Description too wide for a search result
WarningLow priority
Pages whose description is drawn wider than 985 pixels, or longer than 155 characters.
Why it matters
The end is cut off, and a description that stops mid-sentence reads as carelessness in the one place a stranger sees the page first.
How to fix it
Say the useful thing in the first line and let the rest go.
Skitter runs this check on every crawl, and lists each page it finds with the evidence: the header, the tag or the link that gave it away.
