Broken links
IssueHigh priority
Pages with at least one link whose target answered 4xx or 5xx, or did not answer.
Why it matters
Visitors who follow the link reach an error, and search engines waste their visit on a dead end.
How to fix it
Open the page's Broken Links tab, then correct each link, point it at a page that replaces the old one, or remove it.
Skitter runs this check on every crawl, and lists each page it finds with the evidence: the header, the tag or the link that gave it away.
