Links with no anchor text
WarningLow priority
Parsed pages of this site with links that have no text, no image alt text and no label.
Why it matters
Anchor text tells visitors and search engines what is at the other end. A screen reader announces an empty link as just "link", or reads out its address.
How to fix it
Give each link words that say where it goes; for an icon or an image link, give the image alt text or the link an aria-label.
Skitter runs this check on every crawl, and lists each page it finds with the evidence: the header, the tag or the link that gave it away.
