Canonical changed by JavaScript
IssueHigh priority
Rendered pages of this site whose canonical is different, added or removed once their JavaScript has run.
Why it matters
Search engines may act on the canonical in the HTML they are sent before they render, and two canonicals that disagree are a signal they are free to ignore.
How to fix it
Declare the canonical once, in the HTML the server sends, and do not change it with a script.
Skitter runs this check on every crawl, and lists each page it finds with the evidence: the header, the tag or the link that gave it away.
