Redirects that miss their target
IssueHigh priority
Listed addresses that end up somewhere other than where the redirect map says they should, or nowhere.
Why it matters
After a migration, every old address that does not arrive where it was meant to loses the visitors and the standing it had built up.
How to fix it
Correct the redirect rule for each one so it goes straight to its intended page, and check the page it ends at answers 200.
Skitter runs this check on every crawl, and lists each page it finds with the evidence: the header, the tag or the link that gave it away.
