Double slashes in the address

WarningLow priority

Addresses of this site with an empty step in the path, such as /shop//socks.

Why it matters

It almost always means a link was built by joining two pieces that both carried a slash, and the site answers at both spellings.

How to fix it

Fix the template that builds the link, and redirect the doubled address to the single one.

Skitter runs this check on every crawl, and lists each page it finds with the evidence: the header, the tag or the link that gave it away.
