Title the same as the H1

OpportunityLow priority

Pages whose title and first H1 are word for word the same.

Why it matters

The two are read in different places — one in a search result, one on the page — so saying the same thing twice wastes one of them.

How to fix it

Let the title carry what someone searches for and the heading carry what the page says once they have arrived.

Skitter runs this check on every crawl, and lists each page it finds with the evidence: the header, the tag or the link that gave it away.
