Images without an alt attribute

IssueMedium priority

Images a page of this site shows from an <img> with no alt attribute at all.

Why it matters

Without one, a screen reader reads out the file name instead, and a search engine has nothing but the file name to go on for what the image shows.

How to fix it

Give each <img> an alt attribute: a few words saying what the image shows, or alt="" for an image that is only decoration.

Skitter runs this check on every crawl, and lists each page it finds with the evidence: the header, the tag or the link that gave it away.
